Helpful VotesWe both fell in love with cruising after our first cruise. We have only cruised with Royal Caribbean because we liked the ship and crew on our first cruise. Now we have stayed loyal to Royal and are at Diamond Plus status, and the perks aren't to bad.

Hawaii Northbound
The ship itself and the cruise was good. The trip from Hawaii to Vancouver was cold and rough, it was like being in north Atlantic and not the Pacific. Embarkation in Hawaii and debarkation in Vancouver was the worst I've been in. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing.
October 2016 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Freedom of the Seas
BTB
This was the second leg of our back to back. We did the western caribbean witch we have done so many times. As i said before the food in the MDR and Windjammer is not what it used to be. The ship is in good shape, but i don't know why they put the big screens on the pool deck if all they do is show ads. They should be showing something all day long.
October 2016 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Freedom of the Seas
Freedom Cruise
This was our second time on Freedom, the first was five years ago. The ship was in good shape for being ten years old and having the referbs, but service and food in the MDR and the WindJammer have really gone down hill. It seems as though there is not enough staff in the restaurants which could account for the not so wow service. But it could be that now that tips are automatic the help is not working that hard. Even the bar help in the pub was bad. The crew was for the most part friendly.
April 2016 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan Roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Southern
We like the southern caribbean cruises because of the ports, even though we have been to these ports many times. The ship is in need of a referb, but she is holding her own. We like the voyager class because of the promenade it's like being at the mall and you can shop, eat, or people watch.
March 2016 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan Roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Adventure cruise
We have done this cruise so many times because we like the ports and that part of the caribbean. This was our first time in Roseau, they were many venders just off the ship. awe took a tour up the mountain.
August 2015 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip) Cruise on Independence of the Seas
Second leg of BTB
This was the second leg of our back to back cruise and as stated before it was ok buy not great. The food was ok but not like it was the first time on Freedom. Staff was friendly but not going out of their way to WOW you. Freedom was in good shape and the ports were good.
August 2015 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip) Cruise on Independence of the Seas
British ship?
This was the our first time on the Indy. Although the ship was in good shape I think the crew was still in British mood. Not to make anyone mad because we have many English friends, but I think the Brits hold the crew to a different standard, When the ship returns here it takes a while for crew members to return to the more laid back ways of the colonists. Even things in the shops were geared more to the UK cruisers. But all in all any cruise is a good cruise.
April 2015 - 13 Night Caribbean (New Orleans To Boston) Cruise on Serenade of the Seas
October 2014 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Same old ports
This was the second leg of a back to back. The Navigator is an ok ship we've been on it many times. Crew was friendly and waite staff good. The ports well if you have been cruising long you know what they're all about. Don't forget the Texas tax on booze and smokes.
October 2014 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Texas Taxes
This cruise was ok going to the same places, but if you like to buy booze or smokes be prepared to pay a tax on those things that Texas has imposed. They put these taxes on these items to have cruisers pay for their tax short comings.
April 2014 - 15 Night Panama Canal Eastbound (San Diego To Ft. Lauderdale) Cruise on Legend of the Seas
wonderful cruise kids
This was a wonderful cruise. All the ports were great stops and we had a good time at each one. The ship is a little small but there is still not enough hours in the day to everything. The crew was excellent, the bartenders in the Rbar and the Diamond lounge I can not say enough about. Cruising through the canal was really something else, I wish Royal would return to cruising the canal. I know there our other lines that do but I am loyal to Royal.
September 2013 - 12 Night Hawaii Southbound (Vancouver to Honolulu) Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas
April 2013 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Way down southern caribbean
We have done this cruise a couple of times. Aruba andÂ
Curacao are nice places to visit if you have never been there. We did island tours on both of them and its beautiful up in the hills. The trade winds are always blowing so its always cool up in the hills. Nice country side that looks like our desert, with all the cacti growing all over. Curacao is about the same, get your tours on the pier and they are about half the price as the ship. aAnd they always get you back to the ship on time.
April 2013 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Another Southern
We have done this cruise a few times. We like the port stops but going to San Juan is not so fun, coming from Michigan. We keep saying we won't take a southern out of San Juan again but then i find a deal and off we go, but then they get you on the flight.
Been on Adventure so many times don't know what to say. Crew has always been friendly,we even ran into staff we had on different cruises before.
November 2012 - 15 Night Transatlantic Westbound (Malaga to San Juan) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Westbound Trans
This was a very nice transatlantic cruise. We went to Malaga early and caught the ship the next day. The ports in the med are nice ones and then you have your sea days then you have your ports in the caribbean. Its like having two cruises in one.Â
April 2012 - 15 Night Transatlantic Eastbound (Ft. Lauderdale to Rome) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Eastbound Trans
This was our second eastbound transatlantic, on the same ship. We had different ports going over on this one. Going over in April on the North Atlantic can be ruff and cold but you have to make the most of it. Usual weather is cool the first few days then you get warm breezes off of Africa that make it really nice.
November 2011 - 13 Night Transatlantic Westbound (Malaga to San Juan) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Transatlantic-Med and Caribbean
This transatlantic was the best of both worlds, you have stops in the Med and in the caribbean, with stops in the Canary Islands. We had a great time on this cruise, we even flew into Malaga early to check out some sights. Lanzarote in the canary islands when to drive to the city is like being on Mars with the relish colored desert.
May 2011 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Port Canaveral roundtrip) Cruise on Freedom of the Seas
Freedom cruise
This was our first time on Freedom. The crew was very friendly, and the waite staff was good in the MDR. This was also our first time porting out of Orlando, didn't really like that. Theres too many buses at the airport going to Disney. The ports on this cruise were nice.
October 2010 - 14 Night Transatlantic Westbound (Rome to Ft. Lauderdale) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Westbound Transatlantic
Nice port stops in the Med and then 8 sea days to relax on the way home. We went to Rome early to try and see some of the sights. You could almost feel the history there, to think thats where the Romans lived and worked. I would like to go back for a couple weeks to view the sights and have more time to enjoy them.
March 2010 - 9 Night Eastern Caribbean (Cape Liberty roundtrip) Cruise on Explorer of the Seas
Cold cruise
We took this 9 day cruise in March and it was a little cool. We got in the pool the second day and it was like ice. The farther south we went the warmer it got. If I was to take another cruise out of Cape Liberty it would most likely have to be later in the year. All in all though it was nice, of corse most any cruise is a good one.
October 2009 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
Southern Caribbean
This was our second time taking a southern caribbean, we like this cruise because of the ports. Adventure is a nice ship and the crew even after they rotate always seem to be very friendly.Â
April 2009 - 14 Night Transatlantic Eastbound (Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas
Eastbound Transatlantic
This was our first transatlantic cruise, i loved it. Some people don't like that many sea days but it was nice. We took an all day trip in Lisbon , and saw beautiful country. They have windmills all over the countryside, and nuke power plants. The roads and bridges put ours to shame.
October 2008 - 7 Night Mexican Riviera (Los Angeles roundtrip) Cruise on Vision of the Seas
Mexican Rivera
This was a very nice cruise, the ports were good. For a small ship it didn't really seem like it was that small. We always found things to do and keep ourselves busy. We went on city trips every place we stopped and saw a lot of beautiful places around the ocean.
April 2008 - 7 Night Deep Southern Caribbean (San Juan roundtrip) Cruise on Adventure of the Seas
First time on Adventure
This was my first time on Adventure and it was a great cruise. The southern caribbean is my fav. The ports are all so beautiful. The only bad thing is having to fly to San Juan, that can sometimes be a pain.
September 2007 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Miami roundtrip) Cruise on Liberty of the Seas
New Ship
We were on the Liberty when she only about 6 months old. She was all fresh and new the second of the freedom class, she seemed so big. The cruise was a western caribbean and it also stopped at Labadee. This was our first time at Labadee and it was before all the up dates. We had to be tendered in to the port. The Liberty looked so big setting out in the bay there.
December 2006 - 8 Night Eastern Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale roundtrip) Cruise on Jewel of the Seas
Ruff Seas
This was an eight day cruise, all the port stops were very nice places. We ran into very ruff seas where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean. It was toss and turn for about a day an a half. It was really weird to be rocking that much a see guys playing billiards and the balls weren't moving around with the self leveling table.
December 2005 - 5 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale roundtrip) Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas
First cruise ever
This was our very first cruise, the one the made me love cruising. It was only 5 days but we loved them. The crew was very good, the food was excellent. The ship had new paint and was in good shape.

Rhapsody of the Seas
Sail date: September 09, 2011
We were on this cruise to Hawaii, it was a 12 nighter. We left from Vancouver and it was 6 days down to the islands. While traveling through the north Pacific we kept seeing things in the water after about the 3rd day. First it was what looked like pieces of plastic. Then there was balls of all kinds. Then suit cases clothes boats even a fishing boat that was quite large. We ran into a fishing net that got wrapped around one of the pods, making a viberation. The net had to be removed by divers at our first port. We also saw a very large area of all kinds of stuff that covered a large area. all of this stuff was from the tsunami in Japan.
