Go to Mendenhall Glacier. Eat at Tracey's Crab Shack the king crab, and snow crab is to die for. It is a short walk from the pier down an alley way you can't miss it just follow the signs and the crowds

Our stop in Juneau was wonderful. As soon as we got off of the boat we went to Tracy's Crab Shack to try the king crab that we've heard so much about. The crab legs were huge and the crab cakes and bisque was delicious! My husband had to have two legs. Needless to say, we wasted $ on that one. He couldn't make it through one with the crab cakes and bisque. I recommend buying only one - no matter how much your significant other begs for more. If they are still hungry, you can always get another one later. We headed back to the ship to meet for our excursion. We purchased the Whale Watching / Orca Point Lodge / Mendenhal Glacier excursion. We took a bus to see the Glacier. The bus driver was great! He shared there was a hiking path "Nugget Trail" that led to a beautiful waterfall near the Glacier. It was a one-mile hike there and back. We had 1 hour there so we were able to make it there and back and have 10 minutes at the waterfall for pictures and 10 minutes at the gift shop. I'm so glad we walked it. It was beautiful. We left the Glacier and headed to Orca Point Lodge. The lodge was lovely (and very clean). The staff was so friendly and the salmon bake was delicious. I'm not a coleslaw fan, but they had the best coleslaw I've ever had. I'm even planning to make it (that's saying a lot). Be sure to tell your friends and family how horrible the brownies are (wink wink). We left from there to watch for whales. It was a glorious sight. I'm so happy we go to see whales. It was as if they we putting on a show just for us. Honestly, there isn't a single thing that could have made this a better day (except for my husband being happy with buying one crab leg. Lol)

Went whale watching and to Mendenhall Glacier. Great tour. Fabulous. Would visit Juneau again. Went to Red Dog Saloon too. Take a big sharpie with you! Trust me. 😜

Absolutely poured with rain but certainly didn't stop us having fun. Went on a tour of the town then to the glacier and saw a mum bear and her 2 cubs looking for salmon. The cloud lifted and the glacier was revealed in all its glory. Came back to town and went to Red Dog Saloon for duck f*rt shooters to warm us up. Don't let the rain put you off we had a great time.

Amazing sightseeing and awesome weather. Would definitely recommend taking a cruise to Alaska. Even had an opportunity to see a whale out in the water.
