Wonderful Itinerary
I would cruise again with Carnival but maybe not on the Venezia. Don't get me wrong it is a pretty ship but different layout from all the others.

Magical Mystery tour
So all in all we were disappointed that we missed the 2 ports in Greenland since it is why we booked this cruise. We had a great time with friends onboard. Seas were rocky at times due to the hurricanes in the area. The crew made the best of and kept us happy.

Wonderful relaxing cruise
We have cruised on the Legend many times, it is a easy layout to get around. We have another cruise on it in September. We met some very nice people. The crew are excellent friendly and accommodating.

Great TransAtlantic Cruise
The ship is beautiful. Embarkation was very unorganized but it is a new terminal in Barcelona so maybe they don't have the kinks worked out yet. Mike Pack our CD was fantastic, and the Fun Squad was the best. The shows were all new and they were wonderful and the dancers were great. We stopped in all new ports which were all good. Our Balcony cabin was very comfortable. The crew was very friendly. We love Carnival and will always cruise with them.

Vista Med cruise
The ship is really nice. Décor is very simple but real nice. The ship has some nice new features. I took a ride on the new SkyRide which was really a lot of fun. Only bad thing there is a long line due to the fact we only had 2 sea days, so everyone wanted to try it. I would ride it again when I cruise on the Vista again. The crew are really great friendly and funny. We met a lot of nice new friends.
Our ports were very busy, we packed a lot into every day. All in all we would love to cruise on the Vista again when it comes to the states.

Conquest Southern Caribbean Trip
This was our 11th Carnival cruise but our 1st the these ports. We visited Grand Turk which was a small island. We took a excursion around the island to learn about it. I was only 1 1/2 hrs but just enough. we went back o the ship I changed into my swimsuit and went back out to the free beach by the ship. I was beautiful. Then Dominican Republic which was ok. Took a excursion to Alto De Chavron Village just for something to do. I was ok very hot day. Curacoa was next we just walked around on our own and shopped alittle. Aruba our last stop we took the Top 19 Best excursion. We went to a lot of places and enjoyed learning about this island. We would do this itinerary again.
We love the ship life and Carnival never disappoints us.
July 2014 - 7 Night Alaska With Tracy Arm Fjord (Seattle Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Miracle
Fulfilled Alaska bucket list
Our Alaska cruise was something my husband and I always wanted to do. We were not disappointed. This was our Platinum cruise with Carnival. Check in went so smooth, went right to the cabin and emptied our carry on bags an alas our luggage came while we were there. Fastest ever. Our cabin steward Carlos was great so attentive and friendly. The wait staff were as frequently and anticipated what we wanted.
The Alaskan scenery was simply gorgeous. We went on the Tracy Arm excursion which I recommend to all, you venture off in a smaller boat to get closer to the glaciers and waterfalls. You stop there for awhile to get photos. We saw calfing of the glaciers which was amazing.. Skagway was a quaint town we did a salmon bake but I wished we did a more exploration excursion, maybe next time. Juneau we went on a whale watch and rainforest walk to Mendenhall Glacier. Even though the day wasn't nice we had an awesome time. We saw a lot of whales during a bottle feeding where they are all together. Saw Sea lions also. Whale watching was great I would do that again with no doubt.
We love Carnival and will keep sailing with them. We have met lot of people we keep in touch with from all over. The crew are all friendly and call you by name which I like it makes you feel special. I do recommend the Alaska cruise it is a must see.

12 Night Baltic Wonder & St Petersburg
We chose this cruise because we love sailing with Carnival and they were offering the Baltic an especially St Petersburg, Russia which was 1 of the things to do on our bucket list. Well it was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The palaces and churches was beautiful. We did Carnival's 2 day Grand Tour excursion and were not disappointed. Our guide Natasha was the best. The other places: Copenhagen, Germany, Helsinki, Tallinn Estonia, Amsterdam were also very good and we enjoyed every one of them. Carnival is a very relaxed cruise line and we always feel welcomed there.
The evening shows were all very professional and the Legend still has a orchestra which helps to enhance the dancers.
I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone interested in the ports, they were well worth the money.

Carnival Vista

The ship is really nice. Décor is very simple but real nice. The ship has some nice new features. I took a ride on the new SkyRide which was really a lot of fun. Our Alaska cruise was something my husband and I always wanted to do. We were not disappointed. This was our Platinum cruise with Carnival. Carnival Venezia
don't book a balcony on the starboard side on deck 6 unless you want to smell smoke
We stopped here on a different day than scheduled so our excursion was changed. Saw the Heritage tree and rode on a chair lift to the top of Marble Mountain. We were all supposed to have lunch but due to lack of buses everyone wasn't able to eat due to time constraints.
All our excursions were cancelled due to the fact we arrived on a different day then scheduled. all we did was walk around the port and shopped a little.
We had an excursion to the Norstead Viking Village then we had a Viking lunch at the lighthouse area.

We stayed the night before the cruise. We just walked down to the Inner Harbor during the day.
Carnival Legend
I always bring magnetic hooks and clips for hanging our thing and the clips for papers to keep everything tidy and organized.
We didn't do an excursion. We just walked around a little and sis some shopping.
We went on the Garden of the Grove and Shopping excursion. It was good. Very informative and our guide Marilyn was nice and funny had the group laughing a lot.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
We just walked around, I went in the beautiful blue water a little, but couldn't go in all the way because I forgot to pack my bathing suit. silly me!
Nothing it was pouring out the day we got there. And the next morning we boarded the ship.

Mardi Gras
Try the speciality restaurants cause we didn't. And don't miss the shows.
We were here one other time but didn't do an excursion. This time we Did the"Mayan Experience" excursion. ( Thru Shore Excursion Group) We went to a Mayan ruin and was told about the history and we also went to a Mayan family home where we made our own tortillas then had lunch of Tamales, Chicken and rice and Vegetables and delicious dessert. It was a great excursion, and our Guide Edder and driver Abner from Native Choice were great.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We were there before this. We did the "Roatan Give back to the Community" excursion. (thru Shore Excursion Group) We visited an Orphanage and had an island tour also stopped at a chocolate factory. (it was just the 2 of us with our guide)
We did the Caves of Wonder & Chavon River cruise. It was a fun excursion even though it rained some. The fiver cruise was fun with music, dancing and rum drinks. The cave was interesting also but alot of steps to get into it. We also stopped at an Artisan shop with pottery and other hand made things.
We were there before so we just walked around and shopped.
Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic
We did the Mountain Views and City Sights excursion. We went to a beautiful garden up on the mountain and had gorgeous views of Amber Cove. Then we went to the city where we walked around, into a church and saw umbrella street. We also stopped into a store where i bought a nice pair of earrings.
We had been there before also, but this time we took the Must See of Curacao & Shopping It was pretty good except the shopping part. They took us to only 1 place which didn't really have a great selection of things. We were supposed to go to a fort but missed it because of the heavy rain.
Carnival Horizon
The elevatore are different, you have to select your floor before getting in and it will tell you which one to use. Also remember about Deck 3 not going all the way thru.

It takes a little while to get used to the elevators. You can't just get into any elevator because there are no buttons inside, you have to enter the floor before you get in and it tells you which elevator to use.
Really Liked this port would definitely go back. We did the St Kitts Highlight and Brimstone Hill Fortress excursion. and we all had a good time, our guide was very informative and we had plenty of time to explore the Fortress. It is a good climb up there and since we had a 3 minute rain it was alittle slippery going back down, But I made it no problem.
Due to high winds and swells we weren't able to dock here.
It was good We did the Top 10 Best of St Maarten which visited the French and Dutch side of the island. Not to crazy about the French side.
Even though they had just had and was still having earthquakes, we didn't feel anything in San Juan area. We just took a cab to a beach the after went into San Juan for a bite to eat.
We didn't get off the ship this time . Because we arrived at 7:30pm till 11:59pm. We did the last time we were there.
Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska
We booked and excursion from the ship (via email) which has a boat pull up to the ship and you get off and are able to go up close to a waterfall, and 2 glaciers. They stay there for a while so you can watch and see the ice calfing. Well worth the trip but dress work it is cold out there.
We stayed3 nights before the cruise there is alto to do there. you have to see Pike's Public Market, we also took one of the underground tours.
We didn't do any excursions we just walked around the town and did so shopping. A very quaint town.
Carnival Legend
There is no storage other than a soap dish in the shower, so if you bring any of your own products, I suggest you purchase a little shelf that suction cups to the wall. I did this for the 1st time and it worked out fantastic.
We booked the White Pass train which we all enjoyed. We only did the loop for the 3 hr trip. Then we walked around the quaint town and did some shopping.
Booked the Exclusive Whale Watching cruise thru Cruisesonly Shore excursions and it was fantastic. We had Nikki as out captain and Nicole our Naturalist and there were only 10 of us on the boat. We were so close us to the whales. Even though it was really raining out we had a great time. Saw Orcas and Humpbacks The highlight was seeing the whale breach twice. A trip we will never forget.
We just shopped some and took the Skyride to Paradise Point. The views are really good from up there.
We went to Ripleys Believe it or Not for the day ealier. We got there one day befor the cruise.
We have been ther befor so just shopped alittle and went back on the ship. I was going to go swimming at the beach but hubby didnt want to and I didn't want to be by myself so I didn't go.
We did the Top 10 Best of San Juan. Our guide was very informative and we saw a lot of different places and had the opportunity to get out and take photos.
Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic
We went on the Outback Dominican Adventure w/lunch. Our guide was excellent. We visited a family farm community, a school, had a good lunch and then to the beach to bogie board if you wanted to.

You can not get through to the Blush restuarant on Deck 3 you have to go either up to 4 walk back then down one deck.

Didn't get to see much of it, But the White Cliffs are really nice.
Anne Franks house was very good. But you need more than a hour to see it and read all the things inside.
I went to Porvoo a small cute town, It poured out.
we did a Highlights excursion which was really informative saw the town, castle and had time to shop. Got a nice wool sweater there.
We went to Wismar and Schwerin which was an quaint place and had nice architecture

Carnival Legend
The Legend is not a huge ship so getting around is very easy.
