AmaCello

Having been spoiled by Danube cruise locales, the places visited on the cruise portion were disappointing - no evening excursions, most French towns visited similar - cobblestone streets and shops, cathedrals, etc.

The illuminations show in the cavern in Arles was spectacular - don't miss it.

Barcelona and Paris, as always were a delight.

AMA did an excellent job coordinating every aspect of the tour.

 

We did a lot of research before going\, so the ship met our expectations. It was very clean\, staff went out of their way to please you. The rooms were clean\, shower was amazing. The only dissapointment was the hot tub on deck. No one used it because it was not hot water\, barely tempid.Loved the bike tours !

The wine themed river cruise aboard the AmaCello was an amazing experience. Toured vineyards with the owners, tasted all types of regional wine and even had customized excersions! Made great friends with staff and passengers alike. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The whole stateroom was beautiful and I slept like a baby every night waking to a beautiful new view throught the large french balcony windows!
