We always have a great time on Carnival cruises. We meet lots of nice people that become friends. In fact we sat with someone we had met on a previous cruise. We only cruise Carnival.

We arrived at Port Canaveral early and they took us right away(we are platinum). We waited in a seperate room and was called it embark the ship about 10 minutes later. They haden't even set up the photo area yet.

Basically the same menus they always have. The food was good.
Onboard Activities

I did get a chance to use the Spa the Thermal Therapy pool and other areas because we had a Spa cabin. I went into the pool on a port day which was empty. We were busy with events from John Heald group of 650 people who cruised with him.
Entertainment

The entertainment was very good. The singers were really good. But we had seen those shows on another cruise so we didn't watch them again. we did go to one that was very good.
Service and Staff

Our room steward Manuel was excellent. Our waiters were slower than I have had in the past. but they were very good. Other personnel were very helpful and friendly.

The ship was very clean. and areas were cleaned of food trays that people sometimes leave everywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the balcony room is very good and comfortable. Orur steward kept our room spotless. The bed was excellent.
Ship tip
You can not get through to the Blush restuarant on Deck 3 you have to go either up to 4 walk back then down one deck.
We went on the Outback Dominican Adventure w/lunch. Our guide was excellent. We visited a family farm community, a school, had a good lunch and then to the beach to bogie board if you wanted to.
We did the Top 10 Best of San Juan. Our guide was very informative and we saw a lot of different places and had the opportunity to get out and take photos.
We have been ther befor so just shopped alittle and went back on the ship. I was going to go swimming at the beach but hubby didnt want to and I didn't want to be by myself so I didn't go.
