Where is everyone?

Just got off Celebrity Equinox this morning, waiting for my flight home.

43 days till we leave in Koningsdam, 50 till we leave on Eurodam, and 88 days till we sail on Queen Elizabeth.

Heading out in 7 hours to drive down 3 hours to Baltimore to board the Legend for my husbands "use it or loss it" final vacation of 2023 (His job's fiscal year ends this weekend.)

Thank the god of cruising, that casino deals come up frequent on Carnival. Otherwise we would be doing a staycation which would drive me nuts with the predicted weather (rain and coastal flooding).

Spent the first two weeks of 2024 cruising, so now I'm busting my butt, working to pay for it all.

Next cruise probably won't be until March, though, since we're prepping for our trip to Rio de Janeiro in two weeks to perform in the Carnival Sambadrome parade.

Viva a vida ao máximo!

We made it to Miami for our cruise tomorrow. However, it was a close call. We had a plane change in Houston (we prefer non stop, but none were available when we booked) with an hour and 20 minutes layover. A nice amount of time to get lunch a have the luggage get transferred. As luck would have it, there was a 1.5 hour delay in Denver. We arrived in Houston 10 minutes after boarding time for our flight. We got off on gate 4 and had to go to gate 41. Believe it or not we made just as our original boarding group was called. We figured we’d be buying clothes for the cruise. But, much to our surprise all of the luggage made it as well. It was a stressful day and now we can relax. Going home is nonstop.
