I took my first cruise in 1973 (a river cruise in Germany) when I was still in high school. My first ocean cruise was in 1974, to the Bahamas. I have been on five cruises since and I have more already on the books. I am looking forward to taking some 10+ day cruises. I prefer cruises with lots of sea days and fewer days in port.

We had a spectacular time, again, on Navigator. The food WOWed us and the the service was impeccable. We would absolutely sail this again and we do recommend it to friends and family. Our only negative comment is that Royal removed the cigar bar that we loved so much.

Navigator of the Seas

November 2014 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Family Cruise

This cruise was great it was the first time all of our family had cruised together. We had 4 generations aboard and it was lots of fun for all. Navigator of the Seas was a great ship for us, not too big, yet not too small. The ports of call were fun, but the ship was the real star for us. All of the staff went above and beyond. Their dedication was obvious in everything that they did. We enjoyed the ship so much that the wife and I sailed her again, a few years later and with a different itinerary.

November 2012 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan Roundtrip) Cruise on Celebrity Summit

Special Occasion Cruise

This was an absolute wonderful cruise. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and every staff member went out of their way to make it special for us. My favorite area of the ship was the cigar bar on the aft of Deck 10. We really enjoyed doing a Martini Flight in the Ice Bar. We made friends on this cruise that we are still in touch with.

Cruise tips

Navigator of the Seas

Navigator of the Seas

We were very sad to find that the Cigar Bar on the ship had been replaced. It was one of the best features of the ship and it is now gone. Very sad.

Cozumel, Mexico

We enjoyed Cozumel, also. The men went on a tour of the Jose Cuervo plant, while the ladies had lunch and shopping in town.

Navigator of the Seas

Navigator of the Seas

Do not miss the cigar bar, it is very nice. Even if you are a non-smoker it is worth a quick look around.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We did not see a lot of San Juan. We did one excursion, to the Bacardi Rum Distillery and it was excellent
