Alaska is a must do excursions type of cruise. Dont let the cool damp weather get to you. It actually helped us see whales. Not enough time spent at these port. Absolutely must be on a persons bucket list
It was a nice cruise. We enjoyed the ports and took advantage of walking around and exploring ourselves. Theres alot close that you can do without excursions . If we were finished at port we just went back to the ship grabbed a drink and sat by a window enjoying the view
Halifax, Nova Scotia - Another nice quaint little port. We didnt journey off for excursions. We were here the year before. Did some shopping and relaxed
Saint John, New Brunswick - Its a nice little port. Things to do that are walking distance. We did the hop on hop off bus to explore on our own
New York, New York - I did not visit this port because I am from the area. I would recommend coming in early and visiting the Statue of Liberty, The trade center and its surroundings. Theres alot of great things to see here
Carnival Victory - This ship is on the smaller size compared to whats available now so if your looking for big and endless things to do this may not be the right ship for you. If your looking for a nice relaxing but enjoyable ship or your first time cruisers its perfect
Grand Turk Island - It was a nice stop. First time here. We enjoyed our self guided tour
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island) - Absolutely loved this port. The water is crystal clear. You can see the small fish swim by your feet. We grabbed chairs that were provided and hung out sitting in the water while the wait staff brought us drinks. Couldnt ask for a more relaxing beautiful day
Nassau, Bahamas - This area is a little less attractive. Its a little dirty and there are people pushing you to buy things on the streets. We still had a good time shopping. Saw Atlantis from afar and ate at Sinor Frogs. That was a blast
New York, New York - I live in NY was familiar with the area already
Carnival Miracle - Make the best of your cruise. Enjoy everything on board the ship has to offer. The more you do the more fun you will have
Ketchikan, Alaska - Just took a self guided tour this day and enjoyed the port and a little shopping. Locals were friendly
Victoria, British Columbia - wasnt part of our cruise port
Juneau, Alaska - Enjoyed this port as well. Did the whale watch. It was a misty rain and were worried we wouldnt see anything. To our surprise we saw many whales. The tour guide was very informative and was surprised himself on how many whales were out that day
Skagway, Alaska - Enjoyed the information from the tour guide Tracy Armed Jford was breathtaking. Also did the train ride. Went to the old gold mines. Tour guide was excellent talking about the history of the gold rush years
Seattle, Washington - we flew in the morning of had no time to spend at port
Carnival Miracle - This ship is nice when traveling with smaller children. It wasnt over crowded and easy to maneuver around. A average sized ship not overwhelming
New York, New York - Didnt explore much since I live here
Halifax, Nova Scotia - enjoyed the area. Just did a little shopping on our own
Saint John, New Brunswick - Very quaint place. Locals are pleasant and helpful. Just did a hop on hop off tour. Alot of fun
Carnival Victory - This is a perfect ship for first timers. Not overwhelming with size or people onboard. Everything is easy to get from 1 place to another and no overcrowding. Its a wonderful ship
