Review summary

Positive: Crew of Navigator is extremely helpful, courteous and charming. Chef Michael is a Gem!! He loves fresh fish - his Sushi and Miso seared seabass are a dream! Cruise director Jamie Logan and his assistant/wife are great in a 24/7/5months constant effort to please!!!! Negativ: excursions always cut short if ship late for some reason - shortest city tour was 15 minutes and could have easily swopped with harbour tour, which understandably has its own scheduling. Saying that excursion department on ship totally inflexible due to restraints from head office Miami. Tab water always brown, use bottled water for toothbrush and avoid laundry.

Embarkation

The ground handling from Hotel to ship less satisfactory. Staff unprofessional helplessly overwhelmed by their duties and no support in Sicht. Transfer from arrival at Airport to hotel lasted 4 hours as waiting for other guests. Should have organized better.

At seadays very busy, during port stops rather good availability. Setting like old English club, brown dark leather furniture and less light. Ceiling very low, menu meat oriented.

Compass Rose Restaurant

This restaurant with free seating provides excellent service. Manager Patrick, a scotsman, and his entire crew are lovely people.

Antigua Guatemala is a must! Have as much time there as possible. Try to buy some textile from the mountain ladies. They are working very hard, drive to town by bus for 4 hours and their price is reasonable for real handmade works. Try to find lady called Elena - she is genuine , very friendly and speaks good English.
