We're staying there too. I understand they have a shuttle to the port, but for a fee. The Comfort Suites in Miami has a free shuttle to their port, and one from the airport to the hotel which is great. Do you remember the cost of the shuttle to the port Todd?
There is no charge for the shuttle. When you book the room tell the clerk you want the park and cruise deal. You park and leave the car. You will find the parking area in the lot next to the hotel. The shuttles start about 10 am until all the cruisers have been picked up and then upon returning they will be at the port waiting. Tell the hotel what ship you are on and they will give you the pass for the shuttle.
Printed out all the docs this am -Taking Red Eye from Las Vegas Sat night March 18th and arriving in FLL around 6 am. Need to decide how and when we will head to Port Everglades for the cruise that day...I'm used to being there at least one day ahead of time so will see how this goes ...I'm also flying back to Vegas by myself on March 26th when the cruise gets back but need to arrange that ...Son is still disembarking in St. Maarten and flying to New York for a day and returning to Vegas on the 24th...
Just seems like a whole lot of flying around for a one week cruise ....
DebbieVi once you start packing or getting your paperwork together, you'll be excited again. Think of all the hassles you e gone through as just a new experience.
I love that part of the trip. Cocoa bch is nice
I stay at the Comfort Suites

I'm busy being ignored. Just disemboweled OOPS, I mean disembarked Carnival Victory. NOT the best ship, NOT the best cruise, NOT the best for solos.
Haven't packed, printed documents, nothing ... I'm just not that excited I think because of all the gabooble it took booking it.
I was really busy during the holidays. I went to concerts from Celtic Woman, Chloe Agnew & Lisa Kelly. Then I went to visit my brother & his family. Now that Christmas is over, I am ready to talk about cruising again.

And you are only 75 days away from sailing. You couldn't have come back at a better time.
What haven't you started?
I find it funny that when CTAV was missing we were all worried and yet when a few others (not mentioning names but the woman who constantly "critiqued" my posts) go missing, I feel like good riddance.
I'm gathering clothes together and all of the other stuff on the packing list. Suitcases are ready, documents all printed out, confirmations are done for our ride to Cocoa Beach, and late night hotel check-in. I think we are good to go.
I haven't even started doing anything ...which is unusual for me!
