Need BD Rebel back to tell us about the trip. Not sure if he stills work nights. Who will be # 1000?

The Faire was wonderful. The cast remembered us and invited us to be our characters, since they do not have a Duke and Duchess of Norfolk this year. We only attend this Faire once a year but we have been doing so for aboutn12 years, I guess we are memorable. Even the queen (who we have never actually met or interacted with) called us by our character names... i was gobsmacked! We had 8 people we were to rendezous with at the hotel, and everyone made it there safe and sound. The weather was optimal for the clothing we wear. Great time, good friends and wonderful memories.

Now the trip home is another kettle of fish! We got delayed by thunderstorms, so we sat in the plane at the gate for about two hours. We manage to take off in a small window of weather. Traffic getting home was awful. Our fellow travelers made it home safely. The couple going to Oregon stayed on schedule as they had an early flight. The couple going to Arizona also got delayed but less than we did. The couple going to Arkansas drove so they had no problems. But the couple going to MN landed in a snowstorm and the drive home was worse than ours with at least two cars spinning out in front of them.

Still plan to go next year!
