Used to work 16 hour days 7 days a week when I owned a business ... have gone in and out of retirement 4 or 5 times doing consulting work. Now I do whatever I feel like when I feel like and the only strict schedule I adhere to is Getting on the Ship Embarkation Day and Getting Back on the Ship at port on time..

Work! That's a four letter word! We have been retired for 11 years and we generally have a loose schedule. The DH is on a jury right now (for about two weeks???) and it is weird having a specific time to be up and a scheduled time for him to come home. The house feels empty during the day. I think I'll go shopping.........

Lunch time

We are having a nice lazy morning here, enjoying the bright sunshine and looking at the tops of the still snowy mountains across the lake. It's a beautiful spring morning.

Being retired I have no job so not set hours (Woooo Whoo). I tend to hit the gym sometime between midnight and 3 AM and go to sleep at about 4 AM. Family, friends, tenants and brokers know not to call me before noon. I only change my hours when on vacation then I go back to more "Regular" hours.

11:20 here, after the news and Jimmy Kimmel I'll go work out and then home to the Jacuzzi.

I have a set schedule of starting times. I'm up at 4 and home around 3:30pm. Saturdays are volunteer but I seem to find the time for 2 to 3 a month.

I Have 3 shifts for what I do. It rotates. 8 to 4, 12 to 8 and 4 to midnight. Sometimes I get held over well after midnight. It's all good, the work I do is important.

My work is quite varied which I really like. Sometimes I work at my computer from home, other times I am working face to face with clients. Some days are split shifts, and other days it's just 3-5 Hr at a time. Each day is different, but it works great, and I love it.

All quiet on the Eastern coast. Watching TV, I'll be up till 4 am. Mighty ships is on at 0100 then Fraiser. When I work late I stay up late and get up late. What are your work habits?
