Where is everyone?

I'm at home since Los Angeles is going back into "Safer at Home" and locking down again. I thought this would be happening so I had my hair buzzed down short a week ago, Now I can go 3 months without a hair cut. We also stocked up on supplies including TP (the things you don't want to do without).

I was challenged on Shipmate to do some throwback pictures. I chose our 2nd cruise on the Ecstasy 1999. The cost for 4day cruise with an ocean view cabin $1198. We thought that was a good deal.

Doing the double digit dance. Hopefully, we will sail in 99 days!

Walked down to the beach this morning and took this picture of the lake. Had to share it. Although it is only a lake (quite a big one at that) it reminds me too much of an ocean.

It sure has been quiet on the forum. Hope it means you are enjoying life and being safe at the same time.

I feel your pain, while I am not in Iowa, I have had 3 cruises cancelled on me. We will make it.. and when the ships set sail again it will be the most glorious feeling to be on the back of the ship, drink in hand, waving good by to our worries and everyday life.. Ahhh

Sorry! Having been to both Iowa and Mexico I understand that cruise ships rarely make it to Iowa.
