Hey All, I have returned! Finished all my work here in Alaska and finally have been able to bring myself back to the site. With not being able to cruise I just didn’t want to think about it much.

Well I’m over my pouting now! Looking forward to the lines opening up eventually. After all I have credits on three lines!

I heard on the news here last night that at some point it may reach 130 out there. Hearing that made me appreciate this 63 degrees we have here in NYC at the moment.

Thanks. It looks like you're weather is almost as hot as here in LA. I'm glad I put in the larger A/C unit about 15 years ago when I could still do it myself. It keeps the house comfortable unless it gets over 107, then it may only cool the house down to about 80.

This morning I felt bad for the contractors that are building a wall in the back yard. They were done at noon. All I could do was offer then cold water.

It must be August in the grater Los Angeles area. We are having a "Excessive Heat Warning" for the last few days that will last for another week. We will be at 100 or more and 35% humidity during the day until next weekend and then we will be in the 90's for the rest of the month. Los Angeles DWP has already started the roving black outs. I feel sorry during Corona to those with the power outages and no place safe to go to cool down. In the old days they would go out to a movie or a mall and dinner, can not do that anymore. (I'm lucky to live in a incorporated City that is in L.A, but is not part of L.A. We have our own power and water plants, Police, Fire department, Schools and Library's. We make our own power and sell to the grid so we have never had to do roving power outages)

Southwest Airlines opened the flights for January, so I have booked our flights for our scheduled cruise. I am getting excited. Fingers crossed all goes well.

Thanks!! She is supposed to share a room with one of my hubby's old friends.. strictly just to be able to go. But we will see how that works out.. Hopefully a few race friends will be going with us too, but not sure if they will or not.

I just got a little worried that with all the Radiance bookings being switched i would have gotten bumped off, or there wouldn't be rooms left. Now hopefully no worries for a year
