It has helped, but it wasn’t enough to extinguish them. Thanks for your concern!
Oh no! I misunderstood the newscaster then... So sad :(
I am so happy that parts of Colorado are getting snow.. I know it's weird to say, but I hate that wildfires are so common there.. Hoping it helps keep them from re-igniting.

Just sharing a bit of weather news; it's snowing and 10F in my little section of Colorado!

OldGrayWolf, Canada is handling this pandemic better then here in the states. I'm at least in Los Angeles county that is doing better then most of the US at this point. The small city that I live in just started to issue fines for not wearing a mask when out in public, $ 100.00 for first time, $ 200.00 for second time and $500.00 for 3rd time on up.
Enjoy the view of the lake for all of us that are land locked :-(
Some of the US has remained more laid back than the coasts . My state, for example, never really shut down and has never had any state-wide mask mandates. But more and more city councils are flexing their muscles, (due to the always-elusive, yet panic-inducing "case-counts"), and passing ridiculously unenforceable mandates that are completely devoid of common sense and that wreak havok on the business within their jurisdictions. Otherwise, from my perspective, life is still mostly normal here in this part of rural America.

Crazy temp fluctuations. Yesterday we went up to 24 C (76 F) with humidex of 29 C (85 F). Today we expect a high of 7 C (45 F) with windchills below that and -1 C (30 F) tonight. Welcome to fall.

I am still working from the cottage and once our ongoing improvement projects are done for the year will probably switch to home for a few months as I do not have to go back to the office until January. But we will see how that goes.
Most of the grocery stores or any store for that matter around here enforce social distancing by limiting the number of people in the store. You know their busy when you see a line of outside of people waiting to get in. On the plus side though once inside the shopping is very quick and there is no waiting for a check out because there are a lot less people in the store.
We went out to do our grocery shopping today. It is a sad situation, when that is the highlight and adventure for the week!
I get my groceries delivered since March. I never thought I'd miss going to the grocery, I went in once and it was just too crowded for my comfort, nobody was social distancing. After that I got home delivery.

I hear ya.. we are back in the office full time and now I am ready to work from home again! LMAO
We get to go to our last race this coming weekend.. I am very thankful that we managed to get 9 races in this year somehow. It was my saving grace for a little bit.
