We just canceled our January cruise on the Sky Princess. If things go as they have before, Princess will cancel all January sailings tomorrow or Monday. Looking forward to our next adventure, whenever that may be!

That is how it is here in the Houston area.. I wish it would just stay at least cool. 85 to almost 90 and super humid in November is not anything to be thankful for!

Just spent 2 hours in a dental chair! I lost a “filling” on Monday and this was the soonest I could get in. The tooth was bad enough, they decided I needed a crown. My dentist joked that now I could be the queen! I told him that I didn’t want that job. So for once, I am glad I am not on a cruise.

OK, I spoke to soon, this weekend and early next week some Valley spots will be back up to the low 80's. I'm ready for fall winter and spring. I have had enough summer. It's just hard to be in the X-mass mind set and putting up lights when its shorts weather.

We will be heading for home this weekend to be there for a wee bit. I figure the xmas lights will be going up on the 21st.

Sounds festive.

Winter has finally hit Los Angeles, Last week we were about 90 degrees out with A/C going in 3 days we dropped down to highs in the 50's and lows near freezing. So mush for fall. We have had some rain, hail and a bit of snow in the mountains. 3 days from A/C to to having the heat on.

Today I will start putting up the X-mass lights. The last few years I did the house in all small Blue Shimmering lights (the ones where every 4th or 5th bulb twinkles giving a shimmering effect to the house. It looks very winter wounder land but cold and icy looking) This year I doing the the multi color large lights. I just felt we need more happy and colorful lights given what is going on.

Not close at all this round.

Glad your doing well during the fires, lucky that you got the snow and precipitation to help put them out. How close to you are they ? This round of So Cal firers are not near me.

They are nearly out! The snow was very welcome, but because these fires are so large it will take a bit longer, The area is due to get more precipitation on Wednesday.
