Well put Auntie. We have been quite busy as of late. Cruising is out for now but lots to do as I am retiring end of Sept. and we just made a little change in our plans. Initial plan was to sell the house in Waterloo where we are and move to the cottage on Lake Huron. As I am working from home still and looks like that will continue till very close to retirement we have decided to sell the house now and move. Can easily work from the cottage as I did most of last year.

In spite of all the work we have done to the cottage over the past few years there is still a lot to do and some of it fairly major. Then along comes another opportunity. About an hours drive north of the cottage on Lake Huron we came across an adult community where prices were very attractive so we ended up buying a new smaller home here which will be ready in December. So now the plan is to sell the house asap and move to the cottage till the new home is available and move again. Then sell the cottage next year. I am seriously getting too old for this stuff. But once done we are sure we will be very happy as this gives us all we want.

I love this!! I am so happy that you all were able to visit! I hope that it stays this way, everyone suffered enough last year.

Good news! My Mom is again allowed to leave her facility without being quarantined upon return. Took her to lunch and invited my sisters. It was a wonderful day. My Mom called it a “best day”!

We don’t even think about such things until May! Just a few years ago we had 9 inches mid-May!

Wow ... and meanwhile .. here in the Great White North I was able to get out this weekend and get my yard all cleaned and raked. Earliest ever for that.

Snowing here! We have a foot plus (blowing so actual measurements difficult). Still snowing and predicted to do so into tomorrow morning. Fortunately, we still have power.

Well, the internet seems to back, but the computer isn’t. Looks like we are in the market for a new one.

It is nice to have redundant technology rather than being redundant. Stay safe, stay happy, stay warm and most of all, stay hopeful that you'll be back onto the water soon ... at which point technology itself becomes redundant because you're enjoying the cruise too much without it.
