I guess I'm spoiled from living my life in So Cal, I was grumbling because it was 59 when I woke up today and I had to turn the heat on in the house for a bit. One of my brothers wants me to move up to WA but I do not think I could handle the winters with snow.
Wow .. now that is a rude awakening ....
Nope...thats quite alright. If that fell in WNY, in May, i'd be back on the phone with the Recruiters from Raleigh FD, and Cobb County Sheriff's in a heartbeat. lmao
Yowza!! That's a lot of snow!! My in-laws lived in Pine Colorado for 20 some years, and she said this isn't out of the ordinary. That makes me want to go build a snow man!
Hers's the picture of our back deck:
We retired for the evening at 9:00PM with 6 inches of snow! We woke up with 14 inches on the ground! Mother Nature is having a laugh on us. So happy it isn’t a rehearsal day (we rehears outside on the site of the Festival).
Perhaps on a cruise ship sailing in the Caribbean? Warm and breezy.. lots of adult beverages...AC for when it does get a bit sticky.
I think i just need to hit the mega millions so i can buy a summer and winter home in areas where there are seasons, not just hot, and somewhat hot..
Why a home? Why not a condo on a cruise ship ?

Usually in my little slice of the rust belt, its more consistently warm than this in May...I blame everyone/thing upstream in the Great Lakes.
It's 90 today in HTX with a feels like temp of African Serengeti.. i melt just walking to my car at 7 AM
I envy those of you who have snow, or cooler temps. Summer arrives in HTX way earlier than the rest of the US, and sticks around way too long.
There must be a happy medium someplace!?!?
