CARNIVAL SPIRIT RESCUES 24 PEOPLE STRANDED ON SMALL BOAT

Carnival Ship Completes Rescue Near Dominican Republic

Carnival Spirit’s crew rescued 24 people stranded on a small boat in the Caribbean Sea on Tuesday.

Carnival Spirit was at sea sailing toward Aruba, near the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, when the ship’s officers spotted the group in distress. The crew brought all of the 24 people to safety.

The group was checked by the ship’s medical personnel and found to be in good condition. The ship’s officers contacted Coast Guard officials from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to coordinate a transfer. At 3 p.m., a Coast Guard cutter arrived to complete the transfer near La Romana, Dominican Republic, and Carnival Spirit resumed its voyage.

I am glad to be able to assist with my positive vibes.

Aunt Pinko is correct when she encourages you to follow the guidance you were given by myself and others.

Well done You :)

I have had some acquaintances in my social circle with this condition. They appeared to be nice and kind hearted.

Including lots of hugs

Lynn is fantastic

Sending positive thoughts. Hope you continue to lose with the healthy guidance you are getting.

Down a little over 20 of the 100 ( total ) I have to lose for surgery. This was meant to put me on the right path. It’s hard work. Hoping to be in the gym 2-3 times a day for my last 40 days to “ amp up “ my weight loss.

Its always something big t look forward to, isn't it.?

What a wonderful positive thought.

a cruise.....

Lynn is fabulous

I must admit.. I haven't been around much coz we don't plan to cruise for a while and coming here makes me want to cruise so very badly! LOL

Work has been crazy for me and the hubster, and I think this year we plan to drive to Gulf Shores and then over to Destin for a few days. We plan to cruise summer of 2024...I hope!! Yummy

Glad for you both! been on many retreats over the years...different "organizations", but the net effect on us both was well worth it...calming, recharging, "recalibrating" your head...whatever...completely different than a cruise...and, fwiw, a fraction of the cost...GOOD LUCK!

How much have you lost? Are you feeling better? Are you close to your goal?

Still on the fat farm. I head home April 29th. In May my wife goes on a retreat in Costa Rica. I’ll join her down there for a week or so.
