We started rehearsals for the Renaissance Festival. ......... I basically play myself with a very poor British accent.
I remember we spoke about the Renaissance Festival in the past, and then as I mentioned at the time, I did a search on google.
To my delight I saw lots of lovely pictures.
It really looks like a wonderful event, and its very obvious that You enjoy every minute of it.
Even with a lovely British Accent

Happy Monday everyone!
It's been a while. Counting down to my next cruise on Sunday. So excited to be going on the Celebration. Can wait to see what she has in store for us.
I hope everyone is well.

Spent the weekend realizing that we are out of shape. We started rehearsals for the Renaissance Festival. We refreshed our improv skills and walked around the site. To me improv skills are just an extention and maybe over exaggeration of daily interactions with people. Having no other theater training, I basically play myself with a very poor British accent. But walking the site was a "killer". Our festival is about 23 acres on a "side of the foot hills". Everything is uphill "both ways". We came home exhausted both days. Hopefully, by opening (June 17th) we will be able to do our jobs without falling into bed when we get home.
Gotta go pack my science books to read if I get bored.
Bored on a cruise ?
never !
Lynn is stunning

CARNIVAL SPIRIT RESCUES 24 PEOPLE STRANDED ON SMALL BOAT
Carnival Ship Completes Rescue Near Dominican Republic
Carnival Spirit’s crew rescued 24 people stranded on a small boat in the Caribbean Sea on Tuesday.
Carnival Spirit was at sea sailing toward Aruba, near the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, when the ship’s officers spotted the group in distress. The crew brought all of the 24 people to safety.
The group was checked by the ship’s medical personnel and found to be in good condition. The ship’s officers contacted Coast Guard officials from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to coordinate a transfer. At 3 p.m., a Coast Guard cutter arrived to complete the transfer near La Romana, Dominican Republic, and Carnival Spirit resumed its voyage.
A small group of seven just booked a three-hour tour in the Caribbean. It would be nice if we could discover a new island, or discover a ship a nice as the Spirit. Gotta go pack my science books to read if I get bored. I hear there might be a movie star onboard. A plain ol' country girl would be much nicer. Darn !! Oh, well.
I forget the name of the boat. Mistake, or Minor, or Pinnow-- something like that. Be back later this afternoon. Bon Voyage !!
Just boarded Hurtgruten's MS Fridtjof Nansen in Reykjavik, Iceland, for our first expedition cruise!
Welcome to April.
Because we had 4.25 inches of snow on Wednesday, 62F yesterday, another 4.25 inches of snow overnight and currently 50F; I thought this was particularly funny. Just wanted to share.
