Hello everyonee!!
Wow .. and we are sitting in a balmy 9 C or 50 F up here in the great white north. Stay safe and stay warm.
We've had another 4 inches so up to 17 inches and 16F (-9C). I am happy to home and warm with my cruise buddies chatting on the forum!
Thought I would let everyone know, we have 13 inches of snow and it’s still snowing. Highway travel is spotty, because several are closed. Airlines have canceled flights out of Denver (for those of you who may have connecting flights). It is a wonderful day to stay home.

They showed a live shot on our morning news, my son asked if that was Houston and it snowed overnight.. Poor kid loves the snow, a lot! Seems like we only get snow when we've had a hurricane earlier in the year. I am sure that really isn't the case, but the snows I remember all followed a hurricane during the summer months.
Stay warm and cozy!!!
True, it is also a great day to shop for cruises or at least look at cruise pictures. I have a friend on a family cruise for Thanksgiving. I would send snow photos, but I am sure the phone is turned off.
Saw it on the news...one of the benes of retirement!!!

Yankee47, welcome home! Looking forward to your posts once you have rested and collected your thoughts. I agree that it is easier to see the flaws if one cruises often. I notice my standard of expectations is often higher now, so when we are "wowed" by something it is usually outstanding, not just good. Keep your positive thoughts at the forefront.
Thanks...I notice I have to try harder to NOT notice things the more I cruise. I tried to rationalize that, even explain in here "why"...but if I got aggravated over all the things that changed for the worse since the beginning, I'd never cruise again. All the OBC's in the world don't make up for the changes fleetwide. And I don't mean a screw up that can be directly attributed to crew error, or inattentiveness...stuff happens...I mean the stuff the bean counters have decided you don't need, or want.

Sounds familiar.
BTW: We have 5 inches of snow and it's still snowing. The weather guessers said we would have 0-2 inches....ha-ha-ha
