Do you have PVP? I had a question about a possible discount that I wanted to ask my PVP. I hadn't realized when I called about all the cancelled cruises and his voice mail was full and he had an overflowing e-mail box according to his message. I just hung up and didn't even leave a msg. He called me back because he saw I had called on his "caller ID". So a good PVP is worth their weight in OBCs!

Bummer about the cruise being cancelled, again!

Well our work at home has been extended, and I am OK with that. My cruise however, just got cancelled. So I am on hold now. I have way too many FCC's I've used etc to just fill out the form. My son starts kinder on Aug 19th so i found a 7 day on the Freedom leaving Aug 9th (put a hold on it so when I call they can pull it up).. if things go my way we will sail then. I plan on asking of my FCC from the Vista will carry over to 2021 so if i get cancelled again I can re-book for 2021.

The Renn Fest outside of Dallas (Waxahachie) was cancelled this past Spring. None of them are open until the Fall. A lot will probably depend on if there is a second wave of the virus (as some think) or not. I have heard of no cancellations of any Festivals that are scheduled to start after the first part of August.

I wonder if this will mess with the TX Ren Fest now that you mention it. I haven't seen much about it since it starts later in the year here it may not.

I believe we will be back to work in the office on Monday, I had to go try on my work pants today to see if they still fit they did, thank goodness!!! I have gotten used to working from home, and while I am not certain going back and opening Texas is smart right now (well the Houston area at least) I am looking forward to seeing other people.

I've been cruise shopping! Not buying, but having a wonderful time dreaming. In other news: the Colorado Renaissance Festival has rescheduled the dates from June - August 8th to August 1st - September 20th. It should be interesting to see if this works as many of our vendors and acts are committed to other festivals during these dates. Anyway, looking forward to our October cruise (Hopefully)!

Summer has hit. Greater Los Angeles is in the mid 90's this week. It is back to having the A/C going all day and most of the night.

Pinkie, Did you get snow last week ? A YouTube channel that I watch is from CO they had 22" of snow. They were testing the 4 wheel drive SUV's in deep snow last week. I have never driven off road in the snow, just dirt, rock and water so far (not much snow in So Cal).

Today I broke quarantine and went out for a drive to charge the battery in the SUV, Strange to have so little traffic. I was keeping up with traffic and doing 80 MPH on Interstate 5 in the greater Los Angeles area at 4 pm. It should have been a parking lot at that hour. It felt so good to be out of the house. I had not been out in weeks other than just a walk around the neighborhood.

With people staying home and inside the neighborhood is having more sightings or Coyotes during the day walking down the streets and a couple miles away bears coming into residential areas. It's not like I live in the country, I'm about a mile from the major studios ( WB and Disney) and a couple of miles from the local Airport and Universal Studios NBC, it's a dense population area.
