Where is everyone?

YAY!

I'll be leaving in about a month. Got the luggage tags waiting for me with the family I'm traveling with, and I have most of my stuff ready to go already(first time cruiser, gotta get ready early! 😁) I just need a few more things to do before it's go time!

Sighs, I wish it was here already...

Packed and ready for Cabo - week from today will be back at sea ....yay!

#1070 getting close to the 1100 mark! I'm plotting to be #1111.

So who on this thread is cruising first. Not me I'm sure. I have to wait till August 26th

I will admit that I have been lucky to have my parents live long lives and that we have had time to share with them. I was able to enjoy some of my grandparents and a great-grandmother as well. I have been fortunate to part of a generation where one could start out at the lower income level, go to school, get and advanced degree, and become better off than my parents. I am very thankful.

Sounds like a perfect day. Your very lucky. I lost both my parents before I hit 50.

Lost my Dad 4 days prior to my 50th birthday. In the past we joked about celebrating it. Hope all is well with all and happy cruising and planning!

I know how lucky I am. We lost Dad in Oct. of 2015 and Mom doesn't want to leave the house. She just turned 90 and has good days and bad says. The family gathering went well as all the siblings were there...some significant others...and children (all grown-ups now).

12:45 PM, Just came in from a few hours of starting to clean out the garage. I'm thinking of getting another car in a few months so if I start filling up the trash and recycle bins and putting stuff on the curb for the recycle people each week, then it will not be a huge job all at once. 20 years of build up, time to just get rid of some of it so the new car can go in the garage and the daily driver can still park on the driveway.
