Been to quiet around here.

Just got out of work. Lurking around.

I still sleep in a water bed and the tag is always in the corner at the foot on the left side, facing the bed. However, I can still do those hospital corners that I was taught in Basic Training in 1981.

I think our posts are lagging behind again. I was trying to find the post about putting fitted sheets on the bed. I want to add my two cents worth: I leave the tags on my sheets, so the bottom left corner (as you face the bed from the bottom of the bed) has the tag, I put it on first, then go to the top left, bottom right and finally top right. It seems to work the first time, each time. I may not be June Cleaver, but I can get the bed made.Wink

You gamble with your cruise.

I tend to over pack because I much rather have and not need than need it and not have it.

It is wonderful to see a cruise addict in the making. My DH won't let me pack until the day before we fly to the embarkation port because I get too anxious (it drives him crazyBig Smile) Relax and have fun.

I almost always overpack, don't worry about it. But then I plan for the weird things that never happen, too. Your first cruise is a learning experience....you will have a better understanding of what you need for your next one. So you don't use everything you packed, what is the worst thing that means? Just enjoy yourself.

Swore I'd never do this again, but I'm booked on a 6 am flight to Long Beach the morning of the cruise! It's only a short 4 1/2 hour drive BUT my son has decided we need to fly ...remember what happened the last time I did this ....keeping fingers crossed or no Cabo for this cruiser next week!

Never over pack. Bring enough clothes to change in and out of for a week. Plenty of under ware and one suite. Comfortable shoes and pool shoes.

I still have until July 13!!! Don't over pack this is my first cruise too and everyone is telling me not to over pack!!
