Now there's an idea! Every victim of a crime should be awarded a free cruise to be paid for by the perpetrator!!!

Kudos to your DH for doing his civic duty ... it is unbelievably draining ... I spent 5 long years in a court battle that left me numb and drained so badly that I think you could have poked knives in my eyes and I wouldn't have noticed ... or cared....it's an awful awful experience especially if you are the victim! Thank God for cruising and washing those images out of my brain!

Repacking my suitcase ... again ...switched to a carry on that I can swing up in the overhead instead of checking a bag ... just in case ...

I am enjoying having the DH home again, after his jury duty. The defendant was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt on 11 of 13 counts of sexual misconduct on a minor(s) by someone in position of authority. While they thought he was guilty of the other two, there was reasonable doubt. Sentencing will be in August and the *#@*%* will be in jail for a minimum of 20 years by Colorado statute to life with no possible parole before the 20. The judge will be responsible and the DH does not have to return for this part. No wonder my DH came home totally drained every evening.

Luggage tags came in the other day so now we're just holding tight til May! Working mostly to let the days roll by.
