Allergies going nuts here in Los Angeles also, Its a year for the Costco size bottle of Zyrtec. Today we are windy and cooled down to 90. 90 is much better then the 104 we had a few days ago. I'm hoping that that was the last heat wave of the year and we could cool down.

In my little piece of North Aurora, it still smells like campfire outside and our allergies are killing us.

Just a bit green with envy!

I can smell some smoke when I go outside, I keep an air filter running in the house along with the A/C since we have been around the 100 degree mark this week. My Suv is dirty from the road trip and ash from the firers. I guess that is my fault for not racking the forest.

It was so nice for the few days I was away, cooler temps (had to wear a jacket and have the heater on at night in the hotel room), clean air, lower Corona rates and less density of people.....I got to walk around the town and water front (with a mask), have dinner at a nice outdoor restaurant with drinks and a view of the bay .it almost felt like normal life. Since being back I have looked into a resort rental up in Morro bay, maybe go stay for a month or two to get out of Los Angels.

In my small spot in Colorado, we are getting smoke and ash from the fires in Wyoming and Northern Colorado (plus smoke from CA). Visited my Mom today. Still can't hug her or she'll be put into 2 weeks of quarantine. For a 93yro, she is doing rather well. Hope everyone is having a safe week.
