Glad you are back. I can't imagine a whole cruise with that few number of passengers. When we did the B2B, the second leg felt like a ghost ship for about an hour, until the rest of the passengers boarded. Looking forward to your next adventure.

I'm back home from my "Ghost Ship" Cruise on the Grand Princess. I call it that because the ship had under 700 guest and 850 crew (What I had been told by an officer).. It was rather strange not seeing people in the hallways, getting a lounger on pool deck at one in the afternoon on a sea day, no line for the MDR and plenty of window tables at the buffet. The only part of the ship that seamed normal was the buffet at breakfast on port day. (They only had one side of the buffet open) There was tons of open parking at San Pedro. Check in was done and we were on the ship in about 10 minutes and bags to our cabins in a few minuets. The service on the ship was stellar with so few guest.

Over all we had a very relaxing time. Everyone showed a proof of vaccine card and proof of neg test 2 days prior to be able to get on the ship. (the home test was easy and only took about 20 minuets to do, can be done with your cell phone or I used my Chromebook.) People were good about mask wearing and no problems that I heard of.

I will cruise again during covid after I get my 3rd poke if it is out of my local port so I can drive. I have posted a full review but left a few thought here.

Great plan! Big Smile

I'm looking forward to the Christmas carols, displays, and shopping reminders in October! Nothing like shopping early and getting into the mood. (Just need to decide which mood).

Now if we could just get all the Black Friday sales to happen in October. And it's really not too early to start shopping for Valentine's Day cards, candy, and oversized, stuffed, cutesy animals.

P.T. Barnum is my hero! Big Smile

On second thought; Forget it all. I'm going cruising instead and eat my turkey on my cruise!

No cooking. No shopping. No Black Friday fights. No stress. No traffic. No regrets. Just boozin and croozin!

This seemed a good place to put this.

Welcome home! I see it's getting pretty chilly up your way, wish it would make it this far south!

Thanks. Will have to have a read.
