Where is everyone?

Would enjoy meeting others on the sailing. We are hoping for a better experience getting from Houton to Galveston.

So, we were frustrated with our October B2B scheduled cruise on the Spirit (changed from the Freedom). Mostly because the cabin situation, attitude of the Diamond desk and not communication about changes. Well we decided to move those sailings to the Carnival Vista in January. Look out Galveston, here we come!

About 50 years ago I left the snow forever. As a little boy, I remember my mother admonishing me to never use certain four letter words. Then I figured out that S-N-O-W was one of them and it was time to go south.

Still fighting the snow, going to Long Beach on the 9th, Grand to Hawaii on the 10th.

We awoke to -8F (-22C). Looking forward to flying to Florida on Friday for our B2B on the Carnival Freedom. Here's a funny that fits the situation.

Downsizing .. second time within a year. Sold the big home last May and moved here to the cottage. Now moving up the lake an hours drive to new digs. Next step will be to sell the cottage in the spring. New place is also on the lake and has all the things the cottage did not so no need for the cottage. I will be glad when it is done.

Might be just as well that we had to cancel our cruise as we would have just been getting home last Tuesday evening. Meanwhile |Tuesday we did the final walkthough on our new home which we take possession of this Tuesday and move into the following Tuesday. Getting all the paperwork done and in place is enough.

But am very much looking forward to the NE cruise in Sept.

Still stuck at home, Hawaii on the Grand in 27 days, 16 hours, 0 minutes. Thank God no snow, maybe Tuesday.
