Holy Smokes! This thread is still here after all these years!!! Hello to all who remember me and to those who don’t. I haven’t been here in forever and a day.
I’ve been sailing once a year with Bonnie who used to come here along with a couple from Virginia. Our cruise group is slowly growing. Bonnie’s husband Mike passed away unfortunately. Our next cruise is on the Freedom of the Seas in February.
Hope everyone is enjoying the cruise life! Bon Voyage!
Happy to see you back. Please give my best to Bonnie.

Life Well Cruised says it perfectly!
Howdy all!! Been MIA for a while.. All of my emails I used to get saying so and so posted in this thread went to junk mail and one snuck by today so I thought I'd peek in and see what has been going on.
We hit the Redneck Riviera a month or so ago, Orange Beach then over to Panama City. Not a cruise, but it was the beach, and I am good with any beach!
Tow more weekends left!
Inside Passage day enroute back to Vancouver on the Queen Elizabeth. We'll be home for two weeks, then a couple days in Las Vegas, a few days back in DC, then terrorizing the office until our Sept 15th sailing on Noordam.
We dusted off our pop up camper and started camping in the Texas state parks for $21 a night. No drink packages, as we bring our own booze, no drunk and obnoxious people, dive in movies, we bring our own and a projector, gambling, we play cards, no formal nights as we dine in shorts, etc, no MDR slop by emeril, good ol Texas cuisine, water crap like pools, etc, we are content watching alligators instead of naked people(no swimming allowed at the state park we go to). We did not give up cruising, we book a cruise once a year now as they are pricing theirselves out of our business. Been on 35 cruises so far, so we are not missing much by toning it down
Doule digit dance until our next cruise!
