I was just thinking about your visit this morning.. I am so glad you got to go see her.. Soon, I hope you get to give her the biggest hug ever!!!

Thanks! I asked if there was a date in sight for "real" visits. The answer was just, NO. They didn't even seem to want to entertain the idea.

Enjoy the nice cool weather. I'm in the 90's this week. I thought of getting away for a few day to visit friends in Palm Springs, but they are about 108,

This week, we too shall be in the high 80's - 90's!Surprised

Our heat finally broke with a couple of twisters passing close by. The visits to homes for the elderly will take some time to manage as the one thing that we have found out so much recently is how poorly most of them were run. They were the hardest hit group here and I can understand the strict visitation policies. It is there to protect the elderly who appear more susceptible.

It wasn’t a complaint, I was just curious. Mom’s place had no cases among the residents or staff. They did their lockdown early, and for that I shall always be greatful.

That is very good. Nice to hear that some places did it right.

Were in not for the virus, this is what I would be doing tight now!!!!
