We can see Pike's Peak from our home. We are actually about half way between Denver and Colorado Springs. I tried to take a photo of the snow, but the new camera wouldn't let me get it down to a size that I could post.

My family in Banff woke up to about 20 cm of new snow and apparently will get another dumping of it tonight.

We are at 7343 ft., the highest point on I-25 in Colorado. We are only a quarter of a mile off the interstate... so not really in the mountains, just the foot hills.
