Been to quiet around here.
Where is everyone?

Just made an appointment for a “window visit” with my Mom for Wednesday! Her facility has just started them. I know many places that have been more lax with visits, but this place hasn’t had any cases so I am good with it! Looking forward to seeing her!
Pretty sure it is, i have allergy drops that are formulated for Texas allergies, and they have worked all day. I am still a little paranoid, but one can't help that these days!!
Back to working at home again.. a day or so earlier than scheduled. Someone in my office has had close contact with an employee of a tenant who tested positive.. like he has been in their space several times over the last month monitoring construction, and with this person each time. While I had absolutely no direct contact with the co-worker of mine ( i stay in my office and wear a mask when i leave it etc) my boss sent us all home as a precaution. They did some weird procedure last night to clean, decontaminate and disinfect everything in the office.. and of course i woke up yesterday with a cough, and a headache. Thankfully the "itchy" ears and throat tell me it's allergies and my allergy drops have helped. But I am still paranoid and will think I have COVID 19 for days. I am monitoring all symptoms and taking temp checks every 4 hours just to keep my paranoia to a minimum.
TGIF, right?
Hoping that it is allergies (when was the last time you wished for allergies ??? ) Take care and stay safe
First, congratulations on being #7500! Second, allergies are driving me crazy! Sorry you have them, as well! Third, that’s a good boss, looking after the employees’ welfare. Stay healthy and if needs be, get tested!
I am glad I am not alone! Of course my paranoia is out of control, but that is to be expected..
My company is actually a very good one.. all of the Sr. Management care about all of us, even before the COVID crisis, if you were sick, you HAD to stay home.. I will let the standard 5 day incubation period pass, and then go get tested just because it is the right thing to do.. i have too many people in my life that have underlying conditions. I would never forgive myself if any of them got sick because of me. I especially would like to see if my co-worker does have it before getting too worried. He passed by me in the hall, and we both had masks on, and while it wasn't 6 feet, it was quite a bit of distance between us, hallway walking wise.

Those of us who have family in such facilities are very appreciative! Thank you! I wish I could go hug my Mom! Phone calls just don't quite cut it!
You're welcome! It's not easy not being able to see families around either. We miss them and our residents certainly miss them! It's just not the same.
We're under "Stay At Home" orders here in NH but things are starting to open up!
That's all well and good, but I can't stay home! I work the front lines in a nursing home, I'm considered "Essential"!

First Corona "Safer at Home" now under L.A. County Curfew from 6 pm to 6 am. We just got a call from our local police department to stay home tonight and informing us where a protest may be. (I live in LA county but I'm in a incorporated city with our own Police, Fire, library and School District). My neighbor asked if they can use my Driveway to get her cars off of the street so I moved my SUV so they can fit both cars next to mine on the drive way.
