That's why I was super ticked ...I'd used the Princess Visa Card and had given myself onboard credits...The card was what I placed online pre-cruise for future charges but I didn't have any ... everything came off my onboard credits...I even had credits left on the last night so I used them at the casino ... it was really odd

This one of the lessons learned the hard way and now I give cash the embarkation day and add as needed. On the coming cruise, I'll be using Carnival gift cards after the initial cash deposit.

Cozy with a giraffe?? What are you trying to imply here lady?

I'm dying to know if the major problem was related to your bill ... they nailed my credit card with 3 charges totaling over $5000 ... Customer service gal told me I was mistaken and their system never made an error ... I was calm until then but went ballistic ... get the head Purser NOW!

I had pulled up my credit card statement on my phone to show them where everything had been prepaid including gratuities and to show the "authorizations" they were now charging me ...Did I mention this was at 6 am on disembarkation day!

Head guy knew immediately there was a problem and not sure what the "glitch" was and I smiled and said ... guess what - I don't give a rat's a$$ what the glitch is get it off my cc NOW ... not weeks from now... hard charge credit it back NOW. We can't do that madam ...oh yes you can and will OR I will immediately report the dispute as FRAUD to the credit card company. He did it by swiping the card and manually entering a credit which required additional coding but it was immediate. He kept saying he wasn't supposed to do that because corporate billing had to handle it. We learned the hard way back in September that a normal credit can take weeks to post back to your card and a customer rep told me then that under extreme circumstances the ship could hard credit it back if they really had to ...

So even if you check your bill daily, you never know what can happen the last day ...

Coming back from Cabo was really really rough but I also think the stabilizers weren't working properly. Roughest ever for me on last night. Pacific was rough in January going to and fro Hawaii so I also think it's just the nature of the beast sailing in the Pacific. I'm done with Pacific for awhile ... going to stick to Caribbean!

Sad part about an "off" cruise to me was for the first time cruisers on board ... doubt that any of them were overly thrilled even if having nothing to compare to ... For me, one "off" cruise out of so many awesome ones is pretty good odds ...

Did you get kicked off for trying to get too cozy with Gerry ... or take her home ... what happened!?@!???

Loved the photo of Gerry ... we were stuck with one rickety wood bench on 17 and a 8 x 10 area near the bar on 16 .... Not near as nice as Gerry!

I didn't yank the gratuities but I definitely didn't tip the steward extra like I usually do. The casino was so "dirty", it wasn't fun to be there - Drink glasses & ash trays laid all over the place for hours at a time ... felt like I was in a dive after closing with smell of old alcohol and smoke!

The Casino staff were no where to be found except for Ivan, a slot attendant who had been on the other 3 Ruby cruises and remembered me well ... On the last day, I commented to him that it was worse casino staff ever ... all of a sudden, I finally met the Host & the Manager out of nowhere and they're asking me every 2 seconds if I want a drink, etc etc. I said, yeah I did want something ... on Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday ....where the heck had they been or did he just swim out to the ship on the last day. Then the manager made BIG Mistake and tried to tell me I didn't understand the role of the Casino Management like I was some stupid fool that just fell off the potato truck. My son happened by when it exploded and he was licking his chops with glee cuz he knew what was coming next ....and it did ... I informed this moron that I had been on 15 Princess cruises since Dec 2015, gambled regularly on the ship and at home in Las Vegas, and if I were such a low life, why did I keep getting emails offering me a $25,000 line of credit from Princess Global Casinos...I told him if he were my casino host back home, he would be in charge of removing the gum from under the stools next week....

Again, I have had nothing but top notch service from the Casino staff on every other cruise I have ever been on and other players were making the same comments ... subpar service!

Good grief, I double posted. Sorry about that.

Good morning everyone. It does sound like a really disappointing cruise, especially since you've sailed on that shop a few other times. Like you said, it may have been just an "off" cruise. Where did you experience rough seas - around Cabo or the entire time?
