Still trying to catch up with everything after a long weekend away!
Enjoyed it very much. Not perfect but these days I do not think perfection exists ... but this was awesome ... spend 1 of the port days visiting with many family. They picked me up and took me to a house that my grandfather built just shy of 100 years ago on the bluffs of Glace Bay looking out over the ocean. I had not been back there in over 50 years and had not seen the family there in over 30 years. Highlight of the cruise was the day with them.

Beautiful and even more so because of the meaning behind it. So glad you were able to add this to your cruise.
Remembrance is a terrific thing. Awesome you were able to reconnect at your family"s old home.

Bumping back
Impatiently waiting. Have to go for covid tests in 3 days (Sunday) then leave on Monday. Hate having to wait for a negative test result. It really makes no sense. You can enter Canada by plane, train, bus, car or private boat and no test is required. Only if you enter Canada via cruise ship you must test prior to boarding the ship. Grrr.
Yeah.... Only a cruise ship can transmit covid. ð
