The Mardi Gras was my sister's first cruise too - she loved it so much she came home, applied for jobs on cruise ships and was hired to work on the Delphi and VeraCruz for many years as a cruise assistant and then Purser.

October 5, 1998 Carnival Holiday. I won a 4 day cruise (including air fare)from the local grocery store. We enjoyed it so much that we will be sailing on our 31st cruise this October.

Carnival Conquest. I was on a Naval destroyer for 4 years and I swore I would not get on a cruise ship, but wifey talked me into going on the Conquest, been hooked ever since...platinum going for diamond
