Assistance with a room please

Hi all. Sailing on Elation for the first time end of June. Considering ocean view room on Main deck midship. It was that or very rear of the ship? Recommendations? I may be able to upgrade at some point but just in case. I am not familiar with Carnival Elation. Thanks!!

Not knowing exactly which cabin you have; I can state that you've chosen wisely by having Cabins above and below you. The middle of the ship has the least amount of movement if you are motion sensitive another good choice. If you are happy with your choice, I'd stick with it. You can always try something different on your next cruise. Happy

You asked if midships or rear is better, and it seems you certainly know the difference as to where they are. Since you're sailing on her, you obviously already have a room booked, and I'm guessing its an inside. On ships of that class, it really doesn't make much difference, but in general, midships is "better"...which is one of those generalities that don't mean much. Spend a few minutes and check the deck plans as to where things like restaurants, buffets, pools, elevators, and so on are located...Things can get noisy depending on whats above and below you. Be careful doing those "upgrades"....sometimes they can wind up worse than what you started with, and you don't get the choice of location, only room type..the ones that are available are usually unsold rooms...for a reason......good luck.

Midship is literally in the middle of the deck, not the rear.
