Cruise Ships with Pickleball

Pickleball is a popular sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, and it's become increasingly popular in recent years. Many cruise lines have recognized the growing interest in pickleball and have installed courts on their ships to cater to this demand.

Some of the cruise lines that offer pickleball courts on their ships include Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Carnival Cruise Line. The number and quality of the courts can vary depending on the ship, but many are regulation size and made of a high-quality surface to ensure a good game. It's a great way to stay active while enjoying your vacation on the high seas!

If you're a fan of pickleball and want to play at sea, here are the cruise ships with a dedicated court area on deck. Be sure to check with the daily program for hours of availability as many of the courts are shared spaces with other activities.

AmaWaterways

Currently, only one ship in the fleet, the new AmaMagna, offers pickleball on the Sun Deck. What better place to play or watch a match while sailing down the magnificent Danube River.

The first dedicated pickleball court on a Carnival ship was added to Carnival Conquest during its November 2022 drydock. The court is located on the ship’s top deck, allowing for great ocean views.

Pickleball is available on the following Carnival ships as a part of the Carnival SportsSquare areas: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Legend, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Venezia, Carnival Vista, and Mardi Gras. These courts offer pickleball play, but they also have facilities for other games like volleyball, basketball, and mini-golf.
