Launched in 2001, Celebrity Summit is older, but the ship doesn't show its age. In March 2019, it became the second vessel to receive Celebrity Revolution upgrades as part of a $500 million fleetwide initiative. The refurbished ship features upgraded staterooms with expanded bathrooms, premium eXhale bedding, a comfortable layout, and ample storage. Passengers can enjoy daytime edutainment, hobby-related classes, reimagined restaurants developed by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, and world-class performances from the storied American Ballet Theatre on select voyages. From the amenities to the dining venues and public spaces, every part of the ship is designed for a premium cruising experience (without the luxury fares).
The refurbished Celebrity Summit sails from homeports in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Bayonne, New Jersey. Additional departures leave from Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, and Dublin, Ireland. Travelers are offered an abundance of cruises in the 7- to 10-night range with ports of call in Bermuda and the Caribbean, including Aruba, Curaçao, and Key West. If you're interested in longer itineraries, hop aboard for an extraordinary journey through the Panama Canal and Central America as you travel between Fort Lauderdale and San Diego. Summit also sails to New England, Canada, Iceland, and Greenland.
