Before You Book

Why Book: With its state-of-the-art spa and a focus on extravagant dining and entertainment, this ship should appeal to mature travelers looking for a laid-back vacation with traditional cruise ship amenities. Great short time. Just wish it had some holiday decorations. by farmerjoannie

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Family (older children)

We were on the ship for Thanksgiving. This was our 2nd holiday cruise, we were disappointed that the ship did not have a holiday vibe. However, every thing else was great. The solarium is the best place on the ship, great hot tubs, bar service and the movie viewing area is the second best in my opinion.

Book shore excursions online before travelling - you will have the best pick of options and get the trips you really want - the lines are long onboard ship and excursions sell out

If you want to sit in the sun, be away from the crowds - go to deck 12 on the back of the ship - there are very few people that venture up there.

Prepay your gratuities to get Select Dining. It makes for a much better dining experience.
