Celebrity Apex overview

Celebrity Apex takes the premium cruise industry to new heights. The luxury liner features out-of-this-world amenities, including 29 Michelin-quality bars and restaurants, delightfully dark entertainment from Black Skull Creative, and exquisite spaces designed by London-based Kelly Hoppen and Tom Wright of Burj Al Arab fame.

Celebrity Apex delivers an immersive, multisensory experience that connects cruisers with the world. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, make the Resort Deck or Rooftop Garden your home away from home. For good times indoors, visit the European-inspired Grand Plaza atrium or Eden, a multilevel, multipurpose space for drinks, dining, live music, and cirque-style performances. You can see one of the ship's most unique features before you even board — the movable cantilevered Magic Carpet stops at various decks, where it shifts from a bar and jazz club to a culinary events space or a starting point for a memorable shore excursion.

With the Edge class, Celebrity has stepped up its entertainment game. Production shows in the main theater are spread across seven stages for a one-of-a-kind experience. During the day, The Club hosts laser tag and drone racing competitions, which are an excellent supplement to the line's Camp at Sea program. After dark, it transforms into a Prohibition-style speakeasy or a DJ-powered dance hall. For fueling all this fun, Apex has an unrivaled selection of 29 restaurants, bars, and cafes, including four main dining rooms, several suite-class venues, and the animation-based Le Petit Chef.

These features just begin to show the immense variety and superlative quality of the amenities onboard the Celebrity Apex. There's so much more to discover whether you're trolling the decks or touring historic seaports in Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, or the Caribbean.

This ship is best for: Celebrity Apex caters to couples, families, and seasoned travelers looking for an unconventional cruise packed with upscale amenities.

You should know: Everything about Celebrity Apex is novel. It's not a ship for travelers seeking a traditional middle-of-the-road cruise.

Celebrity Apex itineraries and departure ports

The all-new Celebrity Apex launched in April 2020 from Southampton, England. During the spring and summer, the ship offers 7-to 10-night Mediterranean cruises that depart from Barcelona or Rome. In the winter, Celebrity Apex cruises the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. Itineraries for Apex's inaugural season visit a mix of destinations in the eastern and western Caribbean, including Key West, San Juan, Cozumel, and the Virgin Islands.

Activities on Celebrity Apex

Activities on Celebrity Apex focuses around a series of thoughtfully designed spaces. By day, relax on an outward-facing lounger near the pool, or stroll through the Rooftop Garden, a trendy urban green space that transforms after dark. For a change of perspective, step onto the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered deck with panoramic views, or visit The Club, a place for game shows, competitions, dancing, and late-night drinks. If you're traveling with the family, Celebrity's Camp at Sea offers 500 interactive kids activities as well as a teencentric lounge.

Great staff, crew. First time with Aqua ..personally I think Blu is overrated . The thermal suite was nice and having access with aqua class was a definite perk.

The music is a bit skewed towards an older crowd. The pool is a bit small, but, overall, it's an amazing ship. Would do again for sure.
