Review summary

We have not been able to cruise for about 2 years due to COVID. This was our return to the water on a great ship, first time on Celebrity, and first time in the Retreat. Well, we're spoiled now and will definitely be returning to Celebrity. Our cruise coordinator, Donnie Brummer, bent over backwards to see that we were able to get on this cruise. We thank him for all of his efforts.

With 379 cruisers on the ship the staff was about 3 to one for each cruise member. All of our needs were taken care of.

The Apex was a brand new ship. Our cruise was only the third for the ship. Everything was new.

Very nice suite. Large enough with a oversized balcony on the stern of the ship. Very private.

Ship tip

Spend your first hour roaming the ship and getting to know where things are.
