Review summary
First of all, our airline trip with the package was changed from one transfer to two transfers. The aircraft was a narrow plane (Trans Air), the seats did not reline at all, so we had to sit straight up right from Michigan all the way to Puerto Rico. The flight back was from P.R. to Md., which was a long flight with no ability to recline or rest in this cramped, no leg room cabin. Our table in the dining room was right in the waiters way to run trays back and forth and was almost hit in the head with large trays, I kept having to move my chair around so that they would miss me. The excursion to the Seven Falls on Dominica was not an excursion for anybody that is not physically fit. No 5 year old nor 10 year old for that matter could withstand that terrible, strenuous climb over rough terrain to get to two of the seven falls, let alone a 70 year old! I am 67 and had to have help over much of the rocks that were slippery and too big to jump on. This excursion was not checked out by the people on ship or they wouldn't recommend it for anyone that is not a stealth physically fit person. The ship was very clean and the food was good but the dining experience was something not to be desired. We felt as if we were on a turn table. The food came and was rushed through it, no slow eaters, here! We had to make room for the next round of diners. We were told dining was formal, so we dressed for the occasion but others were allowed to enter with tee shirts on. Had we known, we wouldn't have packed our suits and dress clothes. St. Croix, our first stop had no excursion mentioned. We found our own.Ship experiences
