Celebrity seems best of popular lines, little things like champagne on boarding, robes, beach towels to cabin, chocolates to name a few including better food and menus. Have sailed with Carn, Nor. etc. This trip the crew rescued Haitians from a drifting sailboat. Well done Captain Kate McCue,
Celebrity Cruise Line is top notch. You will always visit great ports of calls. The ambience on the ship is great. Great entertainment, great food, and great waiters and room attendant. We cruise exclusively with Celebrity and have reached the Elite level in Captains Club. We get great perks at that level . We have already booked cruises through 2019.
We didn’t like the cabin charges. That should definitely change. I gave my credit card for the room and one of us got the beverage package and it showed on everybody’s account. Guest relations confirmed it was for the cabin but still it was scary to see individual charges shown for everybody in the room.
We had a wonderful time despite the bad experience in Curaçao. But the experience with management at the excursion desk will stay with and unfortunately leaves me with a bad feeling toward Celebrity. I expected more from Celebrity, with not only the excursion desk, but the linens the condition of the ship.
Also it was listed that this was our 42nd anniversary and nothing was done for us until it accidentally came up in conversation. It was listed on our paperwork. I expected more based on their advertising.
Nice way to see many Southern islands that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Doesn't have a lot of stuff to do on board the ship but then again with so many island there really isn't time to do stuff on the ship during the day.
Great cruise all around. We will do this again. The staff one of the things that sets Celebrity apart as well as a deluxe level of amenities and service. The value equation is wonderful as I fell like we get a class of service that is a great deal.
Overall, the experience was enjoyable. It was not our best cruise experience, as the ship was very old and the service (outside of our main waiter staff and stateroom attendant) was lacking. But, we did enjoy the limited items the ship had to offer.
