Enchantment of the Seas overview

Experience the ultimate Caribbean getaway aboard Enchantment of the Seas. Built in 1997, it was last refurbished in 2017 receiving Oasis-class upgrades. Enchantment of the Seas is a Vision-class cruise ship and is outfitted for family fun. Passengers can enjoy three pools, bungee trampolines, an interactive splash zone, and plenty of adult entertainment, ranging from stand-up comedy to dance parties.

It's 3- to 7-night itineraries visit ports of call in the southern and western Caribbean. Stops include Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Basseterre, St. Kitts. Before you book

Why sail? Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas is the perfect choice for a romantic Caribbean cruise, a weekend getaway with friends, or a value-oriented summer vacation. This ship has sizzling nightlife and enough activities to entertain the whole family. It's also suitable for couples and retirees who prefer a quieter cruising experience.

You should know: This Royal Caribbean ship doesn't offer the same over-the-top amenities and activities as Royal Caribbean's newer ships.

What is there to do on Enchantment of the Seas?

Thanks to the 2017 updates, Enchantment of the Seas' onboard activities are better than ever. There's more duty-free shopping, an expanded pool deck, and a splash park for kids. Passengers will also enjoy some classic Royal Caribbean amenities, such as rock climbing and the Adventure Ocean kids club. An overview of the ship's activities wouldn't be complete without mentioning the four bungee trampolines. These securely propel travelers more than 35 feet above the jump zone on Deck 10.

Enchantment has an exceptional variety of adult activities whether you're in the mood for drinks, dancing, or relaxing. Theme nights and Latin Fiesta parties give you an excuse to leave your seat and tear up the dance floor. If you're looking for a quiet place to catch some rays or unwind, you can always retreat to the Solarium or the Vitality Spa.

Very comfortable but the food could improve! by dianebrinckman

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

We had a wonderful time. The only bad thing I seen was the vapors who smoked did it all over the pool deck and did not go in the designated smoking area. Their smoke would be in your face while laying on the deck. Just want to say not all vapors but most.

The best trip!! by Cruiser77043433

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

My son and I went on this cruise together. We had so much fun and made so many memories. We enjoyed going on a smaller ship and being able to meet the same people over and over again. It truly feels like a more personal experience than on a larger ship. We’ll definitely be back!!

The Solarium is the place to be! Not even sure I want to share this tip! There are no children allowed, which made it a wonderful place to relax by the indoor pool and spas while the weather outside was awful! In the Windjammer, FIND YOUR TABLE FIRST! It gets crowded, get your table before food!

CoCo Cay: If you want to relax, rent a cabana-ette. Good for 2 people, comes with 2 beach loungers, 2 floating beach mats, 2 bottles of Evian & fruit. There is a bar. You have to take a ride to it, so it's like a private beach. There is decent snorkeling in the waters (saw a lot of fish).
