My recommendation is to avoid this ship, but if you decide to go, make your reservations for everything as soon as you make your booking. Plan on eating in the specialty restaurants . Their food is a bit better . It will be a while before I spend my money on a royal Caribbean ship again.

Think about going on a smaller ship. This one is too large. It's leaving in May for China, however, The Anthem may have the same issues.

Make your dinner reservations in advance. We had no trouble with that. Even for the shows.

Book restaurant early online- book Wonderland - EXCEPTIONAL! - be prepared to be somewhat disappointed with other dining on sister ships. I say sister because the Quantum currently getting some modifications for near future China Cruises so it likely you won't sail her in but one of her sisters.

early reservations are important. Shows we always still got in but reservations for other things is important to get early.

If you want a cabana at their private island you will need to book a suite. Reservations are only allowed after boarding - and then to be told they offered them to the suites first and they were all reserved. RC employee actually told us they CALLED the suite reservations prior to sailing!!!!

Ship is not that hard to get around. Useful info. at every turn on your whereabouts...partake in as much as your reservations afford you too. Soda drinkers paradise ( we dont drink the stuff ), as you see them walking proudly with their souveneir mugs always ready to chug...

Checking in was a breeze. The track your luggage on your phone is a joke. I downloaded the app and was told it didn't always work. Got my luggage around 8pm! Never, ever did I ever wait that long.
