Make reservations for activities early to get the time you want. Book online for all the events you can. Makes for a smooth process.
We made all of our reservations before we left on the cruise which left us more time to enjoy the ships activities rather than waiting on line to go to dinner or shows. The major problem we had was with the website for making these reservations - we had to call Royal Caribbean several times.
Must make reservations for just about everything before boarding.
When arriving at dock in Bayonne find one of the greeters with I pads and stick to your arrival time. Check in can be a breeze if done correctly.
Make sure you the correct time before leaving ship. they stay on ships time not Island time
Head to the Solarium - it's beautiful, quiet, and feels like a tropical oasis. Also - sign up for iFly and other special amenities as soon as you get on the ship!
Do not take this itineray it was a terrible experience
i do love smart ship Quantum of the seas with best captain Sresco Ban FELIX and cruise Director Ken Rush activities, but i was not happy about crossing Suez canal and Yemen area because pirates situation made all passenger on ship nerveous..
Make sure you book all shows and restaurants before you go to avoid disappointment
The Two70 (this is the correct spelling) restaurant is a gem, not to be missed if you like good sandwiches and salads. The entertainment is fun but limited.
Read the review. Any cruise is better than work but this one could let you down if your expectations are too high.
Make your reservations for the restaurants and the shows before you board. Avoid the lines trying to make reservation on board.
The high speed internet was great. I am a college professor and need to be online each day. We were very fortunate that the captain gave everyone free internet access during the entire cruise.
Learn how to use a computer and their website before departing
Make reservations for dining and entertainment well in advance (at least 3 weeks). Avoid Deck 6 balconies. Royal Theater is lovely, but there are poles in rear and many seats in the side part of the balcony have obstructed views, so arrive early (at least 15 minutes) to avoid those seats.
If you can afford a suite and you are not a fan of crowds, make sure you book a suite. It is so worth it!
Horrible internet connection. If you buy the package, don't rely on it.
Horrible Ship. Dining was same dinners every night even in the wind jammer
Tip: Go on a different Cruise Line unless you like standing in line with 5,000 people every day...
this reservation making for everything is not what we are looking for - I am not on a business trip and I have to follow an agenda the whole year - do not like that during holiday.
