Review summary
In a few words it was a nightmare. We not only detour from original planned destination but we ended in a comercial port at Korea where everyone was unprepared to received trourists. Food was distastful, got food poison at the ship reported to guest services. 80 % of the passengers were comoplaining protests were made every night in the ship. We were unable to shop or enjoy our staying at the ship. Our suite did not have TV or cable, toilet was leaking or cloged. Fortunately we bought another room and were able to use toilets. Among other unpleasant experiences we had. Please provide an adress were I can write in detail all this terrible experience we had.

Hello I shared my my experience to help other people to make informed decisions regarding this itineray. I tried to be brief, and no I am not new I am a platinum member in better words I am a traveler. The food was terrible bad taste, the whole ship had a peculiar smell. No hand soap on all the womens restrooms, my suite TV keept on goning on and off. The toilet was leaking on every flush so we shared the toilet with my other suite. They offered a spa special discount but to my surprise I was chaarge full price. We purchase the most expensive beverage package yet we were charge for drinks. etc. etc Regarding the diverted itineray yes they explained and we understood safety is first however the thyphon did not last the whole trip it was for 24 hours were we were not even near. Passengers kindly requested to go back at least one day to the itineray to no avail, the adminstrators did not provide any explanation. Passengers requested to speak with the captain who never showed up wiht no further explanation. The majority of passengers were furious to their requests being ignored. It was near riot on the ship everyday!! Most activities were cancelled. Overall Royal Caribbean is handling our concerns were poorly they are even overcharging!!. I have called numerous times and they have not even documented my calls!!!!! what do you call this?? Neglect or fraud, ignoring?. On top of this situations we got food poisoning after eating at one of the restaurants at Royal Caribbean!! no body was able to help since they were busy handling thousands of complains!! Luckly I brough antibiotics to treat my family. I saved videos, pictures to document all I am saying. The morale of the employees was so low they were even complaining. People were extremely rude if you understand me. Again this is just a brief of what really happened. But good luck to all of you I hope I can be of any help.

@CruisinTim -- I think this was the cruise where that had to divert to a different port because of a Tsunami warning. There was a near riot on the ship and many passengers refused to leave. Apparently they would have preferred to have the ship sail into dangerous weather than change their itinerary. Let's bring Quantum back to the US where passengers will appreciate her and not complain about everything.

Wow, this was such a negative review. Nothing went right for you at all. Yes, you should contact the cruise line directly and explain in greater detail all of your issues concerning what went wrong on the cruise. If you used a travel agent, he or she could help you with this. I hope that your future cruises go smoother.

Why was there a detour from your original itinerary? I'm sure they told you! What were the other 80% of the passengers complaining about? These are issues that make a review viable!! No T.V. in your suite? Sorry, I don't buy that! Even inside cabins have T.V.'s so for you to tell me a suite doesn't couldn't be true especially when the description of your cabin shows it has a flat screen T.V.!! If you want to contact RCCL, go to their website and their corporate address is listed.
