The excursion movie tour in Monterey was to see. You need to sign up as early as possible because it sells out quickly. Sign up for it online at least 2 months before your cruise.

Bring water, soft drinks as much as you can, since they charge for these. But you can request glasses of water free and use ice cubes in your frig.

Know that if you want lots of entertainment and shows, this line is not for you. If you just want laid back and relax this is the cruise line for you.

I would say if you are a senior citizen this would be the trip for you. It was absolutely no fun. And I will never take this cruise line again.

Princess ruises does not deliver on the itinerary they publish. We were on a 12 day Alaska cruise from LA with 4 stops an the week before the cruise they eliminated a port stop (they actually kept the stop but no one could get off the ship). VERY disappointing in this company, plus we couldn't board until 5pm. They gave everyone a $25 shipboard credit to compensate - that's laughable.

Not for young couples or Middle Ages couples. We are 40 and felt the activities were not made for people our age. Neither was entertainment.

Ask for ice daily for your water as the fridge is not a fridge, more like a cooler. Your steward will be happy to accomodate.
