A: if you're referring to the Royal, like most ships visiting Sydney these days it's too big to go under the Harbour Bridge, so it will be at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay

A: Enclave is what Princess calls their thermal suite. On the Royal class ships it's very nice. I've heard it's not so great on the older ships, and not worth the upcharge.

A: Not sure what Encave is but the medallion is what they give you in place of a sea card like some lines have. They will mail a basic medallion with lanyard to you or you can get at the port. If you want to upgrade the look, you can purchase wearable... items for your medallion like watch bands or a necklace.See More

A: Print them from the website.

A: You can print off your luggage tags once you complete on line check in. The cruise lines no longer mail them to you (haven't done that in many years). Or you can have them printed for you at the port, if you are unable to print them beforehand.

Answered by LisaKitty on October 17, 2023

A: About a month before your cruise, you can go online to your Princess cruise personalizer and print your luggage tags.

A: You mean like an ice machine? There have ice machines but not accessible to the public. They use to put an ice bucket in the mini-fridge in your cabin and the cabin steward would refill every day. I suppose if you needed a refill, the steward or roo... m service would take care of it. Keep in mind this was pre-Covid and things have changed.See More

Answered by booger1xx on October 18, 2023

A: Just let your room steward know that you need ice in your fridge. He or she will check it every day if you tell them to keep it filled.

Answered by lrabe on October 18, 2023

A: Thank you for getting back to us.

Answered by Pistldawn on October 18, 2023

A: I never saw any. Ask your cabin steward to replenish ice in your room refrigerator. They usually do it twice a day.

A: Thanks everyone! Looks like I’m going shopping! This is only my 2nd cruise(hubbys first). My last cruise was jeans and a top, except formal night which was definitely not gowns and tuxes!!

Answered by CindyJ58 on August 4, 2023

A: During the day you dress however you feel that day. The evening is generally smart casual. The MDR is also smart casual; no shorts. Formal nights are a little more dressy. The type of dressy is up to you. Some passengers gowns and tuxedos. Myself I’v... e worn suit and tie to nice slacks and button up shirt. Last time it was my suit pants and shirt and tie. I know ladies have their own version of smart casual so that why no specifics. Enjoy your cruise.See More

A: I think it’s what ever you’re comfortable with. I’ve worn from nice slacks with a button up shirt to a suit. I have seen some wear a tuxedo. I guess I should have said whatever the wife let’s you wear!😂

Answered by booger1xx on March 28, 2023

A: While Princess still recommends tuxedos, they’re becoming a rare sight lately. Longer cruises tend to attract an older / old school clientele, so you’ll see more on the longer runs, but last October on a 7 day Cal coastal I can’t recall seeing more t... han about 3 or4 guys in tuxes. (I’ve gone to wearing just a dark suit & tie, rather than pack my tux & the shoes to go with it.)See More

A: There really isn't a limit but you may have limited storage for your empty bags. 1 or 2 bags per person. The ship has self serve laundry but try not to wait until last day as most do. Recommend taking Tru Earth Laudry Strips and some drier sheets.... They pack well and save significant $. Last Princess ship we were on the machines used tokens and were free. Others may be tied to sign and sail and be roughly $2 per load.See More

A: Depends on the cruise. For Alaska we each checked a large suitcase and brought a small roller carry-on and a backpack. We ended up buying and checking a second small roller for souvenirs on the flight home. Mind you, we heeded the advice to bring... layers and rain gear for that destination and dressed up for formal night. We're about to do a Mexican Riviera cruise and will each check our large suitcases and carry our backpacks again but will only bring one small carry-on for our winter jackets and stuff like medications that we don't want to check but won't need during the flight.See More

A: For 7 - 15 day cruises we bring 2 full size suitcases…one garment bag…2 carryon bags and one empty full size suitcase for souvenirs we can fit smaller bags into the larger suitcases and shove the suitcases under the bed…outside of the under bed the s... torage for empty luggage is pretty non existent …I found the closets…shelves and drawers adequate for our items … as mentioned …there are laundries on most of the floors…better to get either the laundry sheets. Or get Walmart or Target travel laundry supplies …by the way…we do not get the expensive cabins…so the more expensive cabins have a little more space…but most of the cabins go not have a lot of space for suitcases …so if you bring too many you might have to work around them while moving around your cabinSee More

A: From deck plans, it looks like M530 is just below Horizon Bistro dining area. Noise from above is a definite possibility. It might be mitigated some by carpeting in the eating areas near windows/directly above staterooms, but walkways and food prep... areas are tile floors that can transmit noise from carts & foot traffic.See More

A: We just sailed on the Royal in July for Alaska. covid has changed the buffet considerably. Still nice to have a good breakfast, but not like it was before. Usually cold items, not piping hot and the omelet line was so long we did not even use i... t. Restaurants were still good and we enjoyed them. Royal has only two specialty restaurants. No Asia, we were disappointed. Overall it was OK, but not like before covid. We have 27 cruises so we know how good it was.See More
