While Princess still recommends tuxedos, they’re becoming a rare sight lately. Longer cruises tend to attract an older / old school clientele, so you’ll see more on the longer runs, but last October on a 7 day Cal coastal I can’t recall seeing more than about 3 or4 guys in tuxes. (I’ve gone to wearing just a dark suit & tie, rather than pack my tux & the shoes to go with it.)

I think it’s what ever you’re comfortable with. I’ve worn from nice slacks with a button up shirt to a suit. I have seen some wear a tuxedo. I guess I should have said whatever the wife let’s you wear!😂

I don't take a coat anymore. slacks and a collared shirt, especially if it's a humid climate.
